QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed in the State of California as a Certified Massage Therapist.
  

• Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB).

• AFAA-Certified Personal Trainer.
  

• Licensed in the State of California as an Esthetician and Nail Technician.
  

• Current Certification in First Aid and CPR.
  

EXPERIENCE:

• Eight years experience as a Massage Therapist.

• Worked as a Massage Therapist in an athlete's training room, an adaptive physical education room, a fitness center, physical therapy rehab centers, chiropractic offices, sporting events, bridal parties, a day spa, and a full service resort.
  

• Completed marathons and a double century (road biking) and was a member and participant of a 24 hour endurance mountain biking team, giving an empathetic understanding of an athlete’s needs
  

SPECIALIZATION:

• Swedish, shiatsu, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point, myofacial release, and reflexology techniques. 
  

• Stretching techniques (PNF/CRAC) to focus on joint motion and mobility.
  

• Strain-Counterstrain technique (positional release) to relieve pain and musculoskeletal dysfunction.
  

• LaStone Therapy to balance the mind, body, spirit through the application of heated and chilled stones.
  

• Thai Massage to strengthen the immune system through muscle compression and assisted stretches.
  

• Prenatal and Postpartum pregnancy massage to ease the effects of a changing/changed body.
  

PERSONAL INTERESTS:

• Hobbies include: volleyball, snowboarding, biking, running, scuba diving, piloting, baking, traveling, foreign coin collecting.
